Discovering Zyne With Rush & Co

Earlier this month, when we enlisted the help of super cool Swiss concept store Rush & Co for some spring wardrobe inspiration, we had the opportunity to become acquainted with some fabulous, up & coming labels. From Mola Sasa‘s vibrantly crafted clutches to Zizanie‘s playful take on classic separates, the multi-brand pop up always has our sartorial needs covered.

Incorporating handcrafted details in the form of beads, tasseled fringes & geometric prints, the Zyne footwear range comprises of fun, animated pieces.

Amongst the diverse talent available on Rush & Co’s e-store for spring, there was one brand which instantly captured our attention; Zyne. Based in Morocco, creative designer Zineb Britel combines tradition & heritage with a contemporary aesthetic, revamping the traditional ‘babouche’ (an iconic shoe style worn in Morocco). Incorporating handcrafted details in the form of beads, tasseled fringes & geometric prints, the Zyne footwear range comprises of fun, animated pieces (they’re definitely the perfect accessory for the summer).

Infusing the cultural energy of her home country in an easy-to-wear, versatile footwear style, Zineb has been successful in gaining much accolade for her designs. Furthermore, her vision to promote & celebrate local talent, skills and craftsmanship only further adds to the brand’s ethos.
