Introducing Art Dubai 2018

Taking place between the 21st to the 24th March in the cultural hub of Dubai, Art Dubai brings together the finest contemporary artists from the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia in an unparalleled artistic experience.

As we’re approaching the end of February (finally), we have quite a lot of things to look forward to in March. From more pleasant temperatures to pastel-coloured spring fashion (we’re already obsessed with the trending millennial pink), what is there not to love about the beginning of a new season? More than anything else, we’re ecstatic to be discovering the immense display of artistic talent at the leading international art fair, Art Dubai.

Taking place between the 21st to the 24th March in the cultural hub of Dubai, Art Dubai brings together the finest contemporary artists from the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia in an unparalleled artistic experience. Featuring the inventive work of over 105 galleries (77 of which are returning from previous editions) from 48 countries, the 12th edition of Art Dubai is the largest and most international yet. With a plethora of exceptional gallery halls, this event is the centre of creative conversation and a meeting point for artists like no other.

Featuring Art Dubai Contemporary & Art Dubai Modern, this year’s Art Dubai also includes a new gallery section. ‘Residents’. This is an unique residency program which brings together international artists with the vibrant culture and heritage of the UAE for an immersive cultural experience into the region’s incredible art scene. The talented artists participating in ‘Residents’ like Zohra Opoku, Poonam Jain & Kristina Alisauskaite will be staying at the three wonderful locations of Tashkeel, in5, Warehouse421. The residency will end with an insightful round table discussion where the participants will share their experiences (We can’t wait to see this!).
