Accessorising an outfit is by far one of our favourite parts of putting together a look, making it only natural that we’re always on the lookout for a designer with a fresh perspective. Recently, we found just that with Vinita Michael. The Dubai-based designer, with her eponymous label, specialises in jewellery that has a conceptual edge to it. With her new collection, Michael channels the falcon into each piece, inspiring us to ’fly’ into a mystical adventure.
Giving the collection a beguiling twist, the statement clutch plays host to four distinct pieces of jewellery (Yes, four!), including a statement ring, a pair of oversized earrings, a cuff and a pendant.
Inspired by the fearlessness of the falcon, the collection, aptly titled ‘Flights of Fantasy’, is a great example of making an ‘experience’ out of a simple product with its architecturally genius design; the collection makes accessorising far more experiential (and fun).
