We’ve been following eponymous contemporary luxury brand Arwa Al Banawi for quite some time now and to say we’re obsessed would be an understatement. When we first came across the brand on Instagram, we instantly fell in love with Arwa’s streamlined, tailored silhouettes & graphic prints. An amalgamation of edgy cuts with feminine sentiments, Arwa’s eclectic mix of pieces are dedicated to the ‘Suitable Woman’ – the strong woman making an impact on society.

Having established her brand in 2015, Arwa aims to create a line-up of pieces that not only resonate with the fashion forward, but also provided practical alternatives for the working woman; her suits & blazers offer the right amount of versatility to take any look from the day to evening. Furthermore, born in Jeddah and having lived in differing, cosmopolitan cities, Arwa celebrates the diverse & rich backgrounds of women in the region.

For AW17, Al Banawi has created a collection celebrating the girl boss in the form of ‘Hayataha’ (translating to ‘Her Life’). Presenting powerful blazers, trendy slogan t-shirts (We are desperately in need of one of these!) & statement dresses, there’s a vibrant energy in each of the piece, brining the clothes to life. With a striking colour palette of vivacious cherry reds & pristine whites, the collection also incorporates feminine motifs in the form of floral detailing.
