The outerwear style trending right now: the puffer.

 

We recently talked about our love for the hoodie trend this season and we are definitely still super obsessed with it, but now as temperatures are steadily dropping we have no choice but to trade our hoodies in, for outerwear that is more practical. Creating the perfect #OOTD in winter can often become a difficult task as there’s suddenly so much to think about. We find ourselves constantly wondering what coat will work with these boots, these jeans or this sweater?

There’s a long list of outerwear styles trending right now but the one that we’ve got our eyes on is the puffer, or down jacket. After seeing the runway looks at Fashion Week AW16, we knew we’d be needing a puffer jacket ASAP (remember that red, oversized Balenciaga one?) And if that wasn’t enough to convince us that the puffer is a winter essential for this year, seeing celebrities like Gigi Hadid and Rihanna rocking the trend has us lusting for one, or maybe more, for ourselves.
