As we’ve spent the majority of our summer in the vibrant city of Dubai, we’ve had ample opportunity to discover the many (and by many we mean a lot) food hot spots the city has to offer. Although Dubai has a plethora of food options, we continuously find ourselves visiting one dessert spot in particular – Home Bakery.
From the most perfect brownies to cookies that melt in your mouth, Home Bakery never disappoints.
Located in the intimate Galleria Mall, right next to Box Park, the cafe has the best desserts we’ve ever had (insert the ‘heart eyes’ emoji right here). If you don’t believe us, scroll through their Instagram location & you’ll instantly be transported to a heaven of sweets (from the most perfect brownies to cookies that melt in your mouth, Home Bakery never disappoints).

Established 6 years ago as a social-media driven business, Home Bakery is undoubtedly amongst Dubai’s most famous food spots today. Having started with the signature ‘Chewy Melts Cookie’ (something which we always order when we go to Roxy Cinema), today the cafe has an all-encompassing menu with something to tantalise every food lover’s taste buds. Created with the aim to provide “good desserts at an arm’s reach”, Home Bakery has 3 menus a year (summer & winter specials, as well as a Ramadan edit with an Arabic twist) ensuring that they always have something fresh to offer to their loyalists.
You’ll have a tough time deciding whether to take that envy-worthy Instagram shot or devour your Home Bakery dessert.
If you have a sweet tooth like us, you’ll most certainly have difficulty choosing what to choose on the menu. To ease your struggle a bit, we suggest the ‘Brownie A La Mode’ (a team favourite), as well as the ‘Soft Baked Cookies’ (our co-founder Amani never has anything else). With a cute interior (perfect for that afternoon coffee or tea) & incredible presentation, you’ll have a tough time deciding whether to take that envy-worthy Instagram shot or devour your Home Bakery dessert.
