If you’ve been following us on Instagram, then you surely must be aware that recently we had the opportunity to try out an amazing tea tasting experience with one of our favourite London tea shops, Amanzi Tea. Located off of high street Marylebone, the contemporary tea room has quickly become our go-to for the perfect tea fix. From a range of iced options to every kind of tea variety possible, Amanzi tea has something for everyone (If you’re like us, then this place will soon become your safe haven!).

Invited by the incredibly sweet team to discover Amanzi’s latest offerings post their refurbishment (the new layout is clean & minimalistic, all whilst maintaining the homely ambiance), we were pleasantly surprised with what we discovered.

Despite being major tea lovers, we often have the tendency to resort to our same old combination of black tea with hot milk & honey. However, trying out all sorts of tea (black, rooibos, green & white) in their purest forms, as well as in blends, really helped expand our taste palette inspiring us to be more experimental (‘Silver Needle’ is officially our favourite).
Whilst trying an array of palatable teas, we also discovered the different techniques & processes of creating the various tea varieties (We were absolutely amazed!).

The Amanzi team also helped us explore the tearoom’s amazing tea cocktails (The ‘Lichee Martaani’ is divine) & bubble teas.

Having tried almost everything on the menu, we now not only consider ourselves tea connoisseurs & Amanzi fans, but also know it will be incredibly difficult for us to choose a tea drink next time we visit Amanzi (we guess we’ll just have to visit often to try everything on the menu again).

Beyond the teas, we also had a tasting of Amanzi’s matcha selection, and for individuals who were not so keen on the green superfood, we are now officially hooked. Presenting the antioxidant-heavy powder in a variety of innovative drinks, Amanzi redefines the classic cup of matcha. From the ‘Matcha Cucumber Fizz’ (We are officially hooked!) to the ‘Ginger Matcha Lemonade’, the Matcha Menu has a refreshing assortments of drinks, especially perfect for the summer.

Coming out of our tea tasting experience extremely satisfied & happy (with a ‘Turmeric Latte’ in our hands), we can now safely say Amanzi is on one of our favourite London tearooms. If you haven’t been yet, we recommend paying a visit ASAP.
