It is no secret that good hair days are of utmost importance to us at Team Amanqi and we can safely say we’ve found our hair heaven in one of London’s most popular salons; Duck & Dry. Being so fond of the trendy blow dry bar, we were thrilled by the news of the salon’s latest two ventures; brows and nails. Launched under the names ‘Duck & Pluck’ (which we find delightfully clever) and ‘Duck & File,’ Duck & Dry aims to create a multi-dimensional, beauty hub offering a wide range of services under one roof.

We got the opportunity to indulge in the full experience at the salon’s Mayfair location – wonderfully situated on North Audley street and stylishly designed. As soon as you enter the luxurious salon, you can feel the good vibes; from the music to the friendly team.

First up was a signature blow dry, leaving us with glossy locks ending in the most perfectly natural curls that lasted a couple of days despite the insane London weather (huge shoutout to the amazing Rosie for making it happen). Next up – the brow bar, headed by the super talented Santana (she’s one of the very few people we’ve trusted with our brows). Needless to say, the treatment left us with fabulous brows (which definitely got a lot of compliments the following day). Finally, the super cute nail bar, offering both gel & polish manicures. We went for a classic French manicure and were very pleased with the results.
