Inside The Jiri Kalfar AW17 Collection

Amongst those labels, we discovered Jiri Kalfar.

In February, we had the absolutely amazing experience of discovering some of the coolest international talent at London Fashion Week. We’ve already spoken about some of our incredible finds (such as the epitome of contemporary chic, Enlist), however we also had the opportunity to meet the amazing team behind Dyelog, who represent an eclectic mix of contemporary luxury brands. Amongst those labels, we discovered Jiri Kalfar.

Established in Prague, the namesake label amalgamates modern, minimalistic silhouettes with folk-art inspirations. The result? A line-up of vibrant & fun sartorial pieces, which easily up the style factor of any #OOTD. Offering both a menswear line (which adopts a more gender fluid approach) & a womenswear line (celebrating the spirit of femininity), Jiri Kalfar has something for every wardrobe.

For the upcoming autumn season, each dress, blazer & pair of trouser adopts a uniform approach (inspired by historical element). Encouraging a weapon free revolution, whilst simultaneously celebrating inspiring women of the past, this collection is reminiscent in its sources of inspiration yet futuristic in its design. The bright colour palette of reds, magentas & ivory whites, complemented by embossed gold motifs & metallic textures, all add to this aesthetically multidimensional fusion.

With so many different statement pieces in one collection, Jiri Kalfar is most definitely on our fall style wish list.
