There are few things as exciting as dressing for the autumn season; the colours get richer & the silhouettes get crisper. After their uber-cool, nautical themed SS17 collection, it was only natural for us to turn back to Dubai-based luxury label Bouguessa this fall (and we were not disappointed). Incorporating dark olives, black, and checkered tweed textures, Bouguessa’s FW17 collection has a colour palette that perfectly reflects an autumnal undertone. Another key piece in the collection is the ‘Two Tone Blazer’. The oversized buttons and the olive colour paired with a darker undertone, instantly had us thinking of the “power-suit”. Combined with the olive ‘Wide Leg Pants’, the look perfectly synergises Bouguessa’s classic aesthetic of sophisticated elegance with the mystery (and drama) of modern romanticism.
