The Autumn Label ‘It’ List

From the beginning of the Amanqi journey, our focus has been to support & encourage emerging design talent which we truly love & believe in. As a result, more than often, our fashion features & editorials bring to light the brands we’re currently crushing on (it appears to be that our wish list never seems to end).

With the autumn season just around the corner (although the temperature is yet to change in Dubai), we’re already on the look out for the ultimate autumnal ready-to-wear pieces. Looking for a bit of variation in the pieces we buy (something fancy, something casual & something trendy), we drew up a list of three labels you need to add to your fall wardrobe right now.

1) Yasmin Mansour

Translating a flair of feminine elegance into each one of her pieces, Doha-based designer Yasmin Mansour’s eponymous label is both dreamy & playful. Each one of the brand’s ready-to-wear pieces amalgamate a sense of classiness, all whilst keeping the tone fresh & youthful. For their most recent AW17 collection, the label combines princess-like gowns & skirts with embellished detailing (think metallic stars & the right dose of sparkle). Keeping the colour palette neutral (with a fair share of black, white & silver), the designer allows the designs to sparkle (& honestly, we’re loving it).

2) Oyuna

If you’re looking for the ultimate fall wardrobe staples, then you have to look no further than cashmere-wear label, Oyuna. Initially established with a debut homeware collection, the contemporary luxury brand specialises in creating sublime, minimalistic pieces, which would work effortlessly in any style connoisseur’s wardrobe. From vibrant jackets (the yellow puffer coat is a favourite) to wide leg trousers, the label’s AW17 collection is all about providing its wearers with something effortlessly chic, yet comfortable (we simply can’t resist the urge to buy more than a few of these pieces).

3) De La Vali

In one of our recent edits, we had the opportunity to discover the beautiful boutique concept label, De Le Vali. Established by style connoisseurs Jana Sascha and Laura Castro, the designer duo take inspiration from their Ibizan heritage, to create cool ready-to-wear pieces which demonstrate a flair of the island-life style. Maintaining a free-spirited, Bohemian aesthetic, the pieces translate an effortless versatility into any #OOTD. With minimalistic silhouettes & classic detailing, this is one label which will be a constant in your wardrobe.
