It’s not very often that we find a collection that we’re this obsessed with. When Bahrain based design label, AKS, introduced their FW17 collection in Paris this past February, we were instantly hooked. This came as no surprise, as AKS has been on our brand watchlist for the past couple of seasons. Created by talented sister duo Ameena & Asma Khaled Saif, the designs combine the contemporary street style movement with a luxurious aesthetic to create pieces which are fashion-forward, yet maintain cultural sensibilities. The result? Collection after collection of street style staples which we just can’t resist.

Despite each piece in the collection being of sartorial superiority, our stand-out favourite is definitely the puffer jacket, available in both a striking teal & soft sandy-rose hue. Paired with a pair of straight jeans (we’re still not over the deconstructed tailoring look) or wide-leg palazzos, this jacket has the power of translating any simple #OOTD into major style goals.
