One of our new year’s resolutions for 2017 has been to make healthier lifestyle choices, starting with our diet. Always on-the-go and subjected to a hectic lifestyle, we’ve more than often noticed that we either make poor breakfast choices or skip it altogether.  Hence over the christmas holidays, we were extremely fortunate to discover one of the coolest granola companies, GRAIN & BOWL.

Driven by a need to create tasty, yet healthy & natural granola, founder Alexia Kazolides used her own food intolerances to inspire her to create recipes which were not only simple & organic, but also left her feeling energised and happier (a state of mind which we all want to be).  As she rightfully believes, food has a great impact upon our mindset, and thus it’s really important to pay attention to both taste & the choice of ingredients.

Through GRAIN & BOWL, Alexia is now allowing us all to enjoy her recipes (next time you see us snacking, you know what we’re munching on). GRAIN & BOWL’s first two launch flavours, including ‘Maple’n’Pecan’ (a delectable combination of jumbo oats, quinoa flakes, hints of maple syrup, smooth pecans & a pinch of sea salt) & ‘Cardamom Spice’ (a blend of jumbo oats & extra virgin olive oil, with cinnamon & cardamom flavours), are easily available at Fortnum & Mason London or on the GRAIN & BOWL website.

1) With thick Greek yoghurt, berries & almond butter.

2)  With freshly backed buckwheat flour banana bread, smothered in almond butter & topped with granola.

3) With warm stewed fruit.
