One of one resolutions for the new year (hopefully one we’ll keep), is to try to regularly achieve the perfect makeup look. Be it a flawless complexion, a glowing highlight or voluminous eyelashes, we’re aiming to up our beauty game. 1 ) Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
If there’s one beauty product I have religiously stuck to over the years, it’s Giorgio Armani’s luminous silk foundation. This foundation is not only the perfect shade, it is loved by beauty queen Kim Kardashian and provides all-day coverage while still being light-weight and flawless.

2 ) NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
For those nights that I lose sleep from doing work or just staying up too late watching Netflix, this concealer provides the best coverage without setting into any fine lines, and is perfect for building up and covering imperfections. When I go out or know I’m going to take pictures, I mix my usual shade (Ginger) with a lighter shade (Custard) for a bright look.

3 ) Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
Since first trying out this primer about a year ago, I’ve probably gone through about 4 tubes and have no intention of going back. Oil-free and silky, this primer is silky, reduces pores, and even has vitamins A and E, grape seed extract and green tea.

Perfect if you’re living in London, this cult classic gives you a sun-kissed look when you haven’t seen the sun for ages. Diffused with golden-shimmers, it’s great for setting your contour while giving you a healthy glow.

5 ) Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit – That Glow
On a trip to New York, I probably searched for 3 weeks until I finally found a Sephora that had this in stock. The glow kit not only looks great in pictures, but will also definitely attract attention. I’ve been asked so many times what highlighter I’m wearing when I’m out, and every single time, it’s this bad boy.

6 ) Becca Cosmetics x Jaclyn Hill Blush Duo
Also bought in New York, this blush duo provides both a highlighter and a blush. While this might only be sold in stores and online at Sephora, you can can find Becca cosmetics in London at Space N.K. Their blushes last all day and add the perfect pop of colour.

Anastasia Beverly Hill’s contour kit is probably the most popular contour set to hit Instagram by storm. Perfect for creating a sculpted look and highlighting your best features, it glides on and caters to all skin tones with their light, medium, and dark range.

8 ) Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder
This loose setting powder is the only product I have ever used on top of foundation. Translucent and lightweight, this powder is the icing on the cake as it seamlessly blends everything together and makes your makeup last all day or all night on the dance floor. A little tip: bake your face using a beauty blender and let it set for 5 minutes before blending into the skin to create a soft blur and longevity.

10 ) Tom Ford Eye-Defining Pen
If anyone knows me, my signature look is a cat eye. Out of all the eyeliners I’ve every used, this is hands down the best thing that has ever happened to cross my path. This dual-ended liquid liner has not only lasted me three months and counting, it provides ultimate precision and glides on. Definitely worth the price tag.

This product is perfect for on the go, and is the perfect pick-me-up when your skin is looking dull and tired. I like using it under my eyes and on the top of my cheeks for a fresh-faced glow.
