The sun isn’t just shining in London, it’s scorching! With Summer Solstice marking the beginning of summer, we can finally start basking in the sunshine! As much as we all love this time of year, one of the biggest challenges is finding beauty products that stay on your skin regardless of the heat. After having lived in India, I’ve perfected my ‘go-to’ summer products for a summer glow that stays on your skin all day and night long! Not only that, these products help your skin too. Here is exactly what you need for your make up bag to be summer ready!
1) THE BB CREAM WITH SPF

One of the best parts about summer is being able to walk out the door with the ‘no makeup’ makeup look. Who doesn’t love a fresh face, right? I find that for this to really work you need something that gives you coverage, a glow but also protects you from the sun. My all time favourite is the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. 2) THE HIGHLIGHTER

3) THE LIQUID BLUSH

Powder blush flies right off or becomes too ‘cakey’ during the summer. I find that the best way to get that flush of colour on your cheeks is a liquid blush. One of the best liquid blush’s comes from Trish McEvoy. Packaged in a small twist tube, you can stick this in your purse for touch up’s during the day!

Protecting your lips during the summer is as important as protecting them during the winter. A great balm for your lips is the Clarins Lip Oil. It comes in various tints and provides your lips with the perfect amount of moisture for a summer pout!

We are always after a colour that stays on regardless of how many glasses of rosé you have, dips in the pool or meetings in the city! One of my favourite tricks for keeping my makeup on my skin is using a setting spray. To keep my hair looking fresh and healthy, I like to use a tiny bit of the Gisou Honey Oil on my hair every day. With no chemicals, this oil helps to keep your ends moisturised!
