Scrolling through Azra Dubai’s Instagram feed, it’s hard not to catch onto the brand’s message, versatility and simplicity. Images of vast dessert scenes and cool oceans perfectly fit the aesthetic of the effortlessly cool minimalism of their products and we can’t wait to get our hands on one of their bags.

Azra Dubai is a new brand, established in 2015 by Canadian/South-Africa designer and chiropractor Azra Khamissa. The label’s line-up of leather bags, which are all sourced and made with local Emirati leather in Dubai, offer a breath of fresh air to the daily handbag. The bag that began Azra’s journey is her classic ‘The Bucket‘; a hand cut and stitched bucket bag that is available in six different tones. Most recently launched in March was their ‘The Everything‘ tote bag, made with full grain natural camel leather, with handels and a longer strap, the perfect ‘throw over your shoulder’ type of bag. But our personal favourite titled, ‘The Bullet‘, is an easy to wear and super clean cut clutch that can be worn in a number of ways, an uber-cool accessory that every women needs in her accessory closet ASAP.

The identity of the brand truly speaks volumes and offers women an alternative to the crazy over embellished ‘it’ bags, with earthy color palettes and simple designs. We love this brand and knowing, that we can finally grab a bag and know it’ll look good no matter what.
