Whether it’s summer or winter, we can never seem to part with our sunglasses collection (we’re honestly obsessed). Although we love our classic Dior ‘So Real’s & Celine ‘Audrey’s, sometimes we’re looking for something fresh & new to add to our ever-growing collection. Whilst Freda Banana has most certainly been our ‘go-to’ favourite this past summer season, we’ve recently found our autumn sunglasses essential – MØY ATELIER.

Founded by Betty Bachz and Torunn Lovise Gullaksen (two incredibly talented & celebrated women with fashion & design backgrounds), London-based label MØY ATELIER is the new ‘it’ name in the realms of sunglasses. Creating oversized sunglasses silhouettes, all handcrafted in Japan, each one of the label’s pieces combine materials of the highest quality such as 12K gold-plated metal, nylon lenses & fine acetate. The result? Contemporary & cool sunnies that you won’t wish to part with.

Introducing their debut collection this season, the MØY ATELIER team has presented a line-up of 16 stand-out styles, all influenced by both the art of Asian jewellery making, as well as the avant grade nature of the 70s art scene (the colour palette reflects the warm & extravagant mood). Each one of the models are unisex, and fit in well with the label’s free-spirited & liberal philosophy.
