A favourite since we started our Amanqi journey, Dubai-based accessory brand, L’Afshar, has always had a special place in our hearts (& wardrobes). Constantly reinventing her box-style clutches with the coolest contrasting textures & materials (she has truly mastered the innovative use of acrylic & Lucite), designer Lilian Afshar is undoubtedly a connoisseur of textile & style.

For her AW17 collection, Lilian has imbibed the contemporary luxury label’s core designs with the addition of some more exciting pieces (the ‘Pandora‘ clutch is one of our favourites). Inspired by the harmony of the cosmos, this collection embodies the magic of heavenly object, resulting in beautiful clutches named after various celestial bodies (think the likes of ‘Cosmos’ & ‘Nova‘).

Imbibing a monochromatic colour palette (with the exception of a pink piece), black marbles, white glass & gold/silver mirrors keep the clutch designs captivating & striking (you’ll definitely be making a statement). The incorporation of prints within the textiles, like checkered marble & embossed mirrored glass, further add a unique element to the clutches, making them more of a piece of art than just an accessory.
